Fishers Flat Pack respects your privacy and is committed to handling your personal information responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information may be collected when you visit this website, contact Fishers Flat Pack or use its furniture assembly services, why that information is used and the rights you have in relation to it.

Fishers Flat Pack is an independent furniture assembly service operated by Carl Fisher as a sole trader.
For the purposes of UK data protection law, Carl Fisher is responsible for the personal information processed in connection with Fishers Flat Pack.

Photographs — You may choose to send photographs of furniture or the intended assembly area to help me understand or quote for the work. I may also take photographs of completed work. These will only be used for promotional purposes, such as on the Fishers Flat Pack website, social media or business profiles, where appropriate permission has been obtained.
3. How I Collect Your Information
Personal information is generally provided directly by you when you: complete the website enquiry form; contact Fishers Flat Pack by email; call or send an SMS; contact Fishers Flat Pack through WhatsApp; request a quotation; make or manage a booking; or use Fishers Flat Pack’s services.
The website also uses Framer’s built-in website analytics. Framer states that its analytics are anonymised, use no cookies or persistent identifiers, and do not collect information that identifies individual website visitors.
4. How I Use Your Information
Your personal information may be used to: respond to your enquiry; understand the furniture assembly work you require; prepare and provide quotations; arrange, confirm or manage bookings; provide furniture assembly services; communicate with you before, during or after a booking; process and record payments; prepare invoices and maintain appropriate business and accounting records; deal with questions, problems or complaints relating to a service; and comply with legal, tax, accounting or regulatory requirements.
Fishers Flat Pack does not currently use customer contact information for email, SMS or WhatsApp marketing.
5. Lawful Basis for Using Your Information
Under UK data protection law, there must be a lawful reason for processing personal information. Depending on the circumstances, Fishers Flat Pack may rely on:

Personal information will only be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including meeting legal, accounting and tax requirements and dealing with any queries or disputes. Information relating to enquiries that do not result in a booking will not be retained indefinitely where there is no longer a business or legal reason to keep it.
Records relating to completed work, payments, invoices and business accounts may need to be retained for longer periods to comply with legal and tax requirements.
Where applicable, business and tax records will be retained in accordance with HMRC record-keeping requirements.
8. Website Analytics and Cookies
The Fishers Flat Pack website is built and hosted using Framer. At launch, the website uses Framer’s built-in analytics to understand general website activity and performance.
According to Framer, its built-in analytics: do not use cookies; do not generate persistent identifiers; use anonymised data; and do not collect information that identifies an individual visitor.
Fishers Flat Pack does not currently use additional advertising or behavioural tracking technologies such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel. If this changes in future, this Privacy Policy and any necessary cookie-consent arrangements will be updated accordingly.
9. How Your Information Is Protected
Reasonable steps are taken to keep personal information secure and to protect it against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. Access to customer information is limited to what is reasonably required to operate Fishers Flat Pack and provide its services. While reasonable precautions are taken, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
